POSTPONED: Concert for Balkans Rivers: Banja Luka
NOTICE: We regret to inform you that due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation in Banja Luka and all of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Concert for Balkan Rivers has been postponed until further notice.
Postponing the concert does not mean that we are giving up the fight for our rivers!
We invite you to come to the FREE concert for Balkan Rivers featuring Partibrejkers and Rundek & Ekipa on September 25th at the Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina!! The concert, held under the slogan “Freedom to the rivers!”, will be a music and activism event bringing together activists from BiH and the region who are fighting to preserve rivers.
Come and raise your voice for the protection of our rivers and send a clear message together with Partibrejkers and Rundek & Ekipa: We will fight for the last wild rivers in Europe and not leave them to the interests of individuals!! We don’t want theft; we will not give up our rivers!
The concert is organized by our local Blue Heart partners Center for Environment
Darko Rundek and Zoran Kostić Cane (Partibrejkers) are one of the first artists in the region to raise their voices to save the rivers of the Balkans and join the campaign “Artists for Balkan Rivers” aimed at spreading awareness of the alarming plans to build over 3,000 small hydropower plants on rivers in the wider Balkans, of which over 400 are planned or are already under construction in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
