Patagonia petition: No Money, No Dams
In response to the recently published Bankwatch report “Financing for hydropower in protected areas in Southeast Europe: 2018 update” and in support of the Blue Heart campaign, the outdoor outfitter Patagonia has launched the petition "No money. No dams." !
Call on international banks to stop investing in the destruction of Europe’s last wild rivers! Tell the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), European Investment Bank (EIB), and the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation (IFC) they must halt their Balkan hydropower investments before the these river jewels are irreversibly destroyed.
