Bosnian designer, photographer and FujiFilm ambassador Kemal Bećirević takes his inspiration from Bosnian landscape. He offers the following statement with his contribution to #ArtistsForBalkanRivers: “Bosnia and Herzegovina is an area known for its great biological diversity. We are at the very top of Euopean countries in regards to rich biodiversity. The greatest credit for this story goes to its sources of drinking water and pristine water courses that support these fascinating ecosystems full of endemic species. We live in the 21st century and there is no justification for any government to treat this wealth as if this country were its personal colonial possession for resource extraction. It is time for us all to start taking this old Indian proverb extremely seriously: 'We did not inherit this land from our ancestors, but borrowed it from our children.' The same goes for water!” Find his full album in this post.
